Ludovic Bource in Rome kristiansensini, December 20, 2012January 22, 2016 A couple of days ago I had the chance to meet in Rome (at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, the National School of Cinema) Ludovic Bource, the composer and Oscar Winner for the movie “The Artist”. I also followed his class for the International Laboratory of Film Music, he’s an amazing composer, a very nice person and a very competent teacher. The best advice he gave to the students wasn’t about orchestration or composition, but about self-confidence: “Believe in your music, defend your ideas and, as composers, try to help each other”.
