• Halloween Special 2012–Cinematic Sound Radio

    Autumn is probably my favorite season. The cooler weather, the colour of the leaves, Thanksgiving, pumpkin pie, pumpkin beer… but most importantly it’s Halloween season which gives me an excuse to watch scary films every night and indulge in over the top horror film music. Music written for the horror genre is unapologetic and it’s the kind of music that is encourage to stand out and play an important part in a film’s narrative. On todays show we are going to celebrate the horror film score for a second year in a row! Hopefully this becomes an annual tradition here at Cinematic Sound Radio the way it was when I was on terrestrial radio all those years ago at C101.5 FM.

    UNA COLONNA SONORA DA “INCUBO”

    E’ ora disponibile l’acquisto on line della colonna sonora di Hyde Secret Nightmare, film diretto da Domiziano Cristopharo. La OST è firmata dal compositore Kristian Sensini ed è acquistabile sul sito della Kronos Records (clicca qui) oppure in versione digitale sul sito di Itunes (clicca qui), dov’ è possibile acquistare i brani anche singolarmente dopo una piccola anteprima. Le musiche studiate sposano appieno lo stile grottesco e surreale del film, in sé, una rivisitazione in chiave horror/erotica de Lo Strano Caso del Dr. Jeckill  del Sig. Hyde. Il CD contiene 23 tracce tra cui 3 bonus tracks. Un disco che, per chi conosce musicalmente Sensini e ha avuto già modo di apprezzarlo in precedenza, non resterà di certo deluso!
